Indigenous Peoples living in Mineral Rich Land

There is an inequity between Indigenous Peoples and Mineral Wealth. There are 370 Million Indigenous Peoples living across 70 Countries (UN Permanent Forum oon Indigenous Issues 2014). Most live in Land rich in Mineral Deposits and do not benefit economically from the Mineral Wealth of their land. Some incur in Informal Mining as economic survival. The main Beneficiaries of the Mineral Wealth of Indigenous Peoples Land are Non-Indigenous Stake Holders.
